Student Engagement:Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation, collaboration, and active learning
Foster student curiosity, inquiry, and enthusiasm for biology
Laboratory Supervision:Oversee laboratory activities, experiments, and projects, ensuring safety protocols are followed
Provide hands-on guidance to students during practical sessions
Assessment and Feedback:Develop assessments, quizzes, exams, and assignments to evaluate student understanding of biology concepts
Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to support their academic growth
Academic Advising:Offer academic guidance, mentorship, and support to students pursuing biology-related programs
Research and Scholarly Activities:Engage in scientific research, scholarly activities, and contribute to the advancement of knowledge in the field of biology
Encourage students to participate in research projects and provide guidance on research methodologies
Professional Development:Stay current with advancements in biology, educational technologies, and pedagogical approaches through continuous learning
Departmental Collaboration:Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, program assessment, and interdisciplinary projects
Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to departmental initiatives
