BI Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to design, develop, and maintain BI solutions that enable data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will have experience in data warehousing, ETL development, data modeling, reporting, and visualization tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain BI dashboards, reports, and scorecards.
• Build and optimize data models, data warehouses, and ETL/ELT processes.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain reports using BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
• Perform data analysis and ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency.
• Create and manage SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and cross-functional teams.
• Monitor report performance and implement improvements as needed.
• Provide support, troubleshooting, and enhancements for existing BI solutions.
• Prepare technical documentation and user guides.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in Business Intelligence development.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and database technologies (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools.
• Experience with ETL tools such as SSIS, Informatica, Talend, or Azure Data Factory.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
• Knowledge of data visualization best practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud data platforms.
• Knowledge of Python, R, or other data analysis languages.
• Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, or Big Data technologies.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
