BI Analyst

Department: Business Intelligence / Data Analytics

Job Summary: Experienced Power BI Developer with 5-8 years of expertise in business intelligence, data modeling, and visualization. The ideal candidate will lead the design and development of advanced Power BI solutions, mentor junior developers, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver strategic insights that drive business decisions.

Responsibilities / Skills:

Mandatory skill set – PowerBI (Data Analysis, Modeling and Transformation), PowerBI Administration, Power Query, Power Apps, SQL, Azure Databricks, GitHub Copilot

Preferred skill set – Microsoft PL-300 Certification, Snowflake / Oracle / DB2

Must have experience in RDBMS systems including data modeling, table structures, views and procedures etc.

• Consult with clients in various reviews, business requirements, design reviews, etc. to gain a solid understanding of the data domains and provide input into the various deliverables.

Work with executives and other business leaders to identify opportunities for improvement.

Write clear and well-structured business requirements/documents

Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards (and supporting datasets) that surface actionable insights for Wealth Management stakeholders and leadership.

Translate business questions into data requirements and reporting specifications; partner with technology teams to ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture.

Conduct deep-dive analyses that diagnose drivers of performance changes and recommend actions that influence product, sales, service, and retention outcomes.

Lead (or co-lead) discovery and requirements gathering for new reporting needs; document assumptions, definitions, and governance considerations.

Ensure data integrity by proactively identifying, investigating, and resolving data anomalies across complex, multisource datasets.

Collaborate with Digital, Data Engineering, and IT teams to improve data foundations and automate recurring reporting where possible.

Support adhoc analytics requests and rapid-turn analysis in support of Wealth Management initiatives (e.g., segmentation, servicing outcomes, sales enablement, retention).

Create clear executive-ready narratives that distill complex data into concise insights and recommendations.

• Good to have skills:

Working experience in Power BI and Tableau

Good to have exposure on data modelling concepts.

Knowledge on migration reports / dashboards from SAP BO to Tableau or Power BI.

• Should have knowledge on ticketing tools – Service Now, ITSM
• Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills, prior experience of working with US/EMEA clients/stakeholders
