Job Title: Backup Administrators( NetBackup)

Location: Hyderabad/Pune Hybrid

Role & responsibilities

L3 NetBackup Installation configuration NetBackup

Main activities Perform regular system maintenance including Incident solving Change implementation Patch management Analyze solve performance and security issues Complex backup scheduling maintenance also includes helping solve complex problems related to operating system databases middleware or applications teams:-

• Troubleshooting backup failures and taking appropriate steps
• Hands on experience on Veritas Enterprise Vault and Data Domain appliances.
• Configuration and troubleshooting of SAN Client backup Fiber Transport.
• Clear understanding on SLP and Vault.
• Upgrading and patching the Backup servers.
• Oracle SQL VMWare Replication Director Integration with NetBackup.
• Backup restoration DR of UNIX Windows Host.
• Backup Restore for Oracle SQL ESXNDMP.
• Managing Internal Database of NetBackup.
• Should also have good understanding on TCPIP concepts

Need to have clear understanding on SAN Infrastructure and Architecture Understanding of functional requirements and translation of business requirements into technical specifications.

• Some knowledge on Object storage CenteraATMOSECSeVault administration.
• Preferred to have good understanding of VMWare IntelliSnap backups restore through Commvault.
• Oracle backups restore integration with Commvault.
• Understanding of Hyperscale Appliances with Commvault.
• Understanding of storage policies Schedule policies data aging concepts in Commvault.
• Understanding of reporting tools like NetBackup OpsCenter NetBackup IT Analytics Commvault reporting server .
• Having strong reporting skills and understanding of excel ppt to formulate reports out of product data .
• Configure customize and schedule reports in Backup reporting product tools.
