Job description of Backend Developer (Retail project)

As a Backend developer, the candidate will work on product development to deliver major features from the design phase to the production release. He will be given the opportunity to work with multiple technology stacks.

Requirements:

Bachelors or master s degree in any domain.

Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in a relevant role

Strong understanding of microservices architecture and ability to implement components independently.

Must have experience in Node.js, ExpressJS, NestJS, Rest APIs, and GraphQL backend technologies.

Must have experience in databases like mongodb and postgresql.

Must have an understanding and experience of REST API design patterns

Must have experience in SQL or NoSQL database development.

Experience in developing backend systems for retail domain systems or point of sales systems or E-commerce systems will be an added advantage.

Relevant experience in redis is an added advantage.

Must have experience in the agile development process, coding standards, source control management like github, gitlabs, code reviews, build processes, testing, and monitoring.

gRPC experience will be added advantage.

Experience with AWS technologies such as EKS, ECS, Lambda, S3, AppSync, API Gateway will be an added advantage.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Deliver the best solutions in collaboration with UX designers, product managers, and other team developers

Participate in development planning and demos.

Extending your own skills by learning from and growing with the team

Desire to learn new languages and move towards becoming full stack developer
