Backend Developer (Python + MongoDB)

About the Role

We are building innovative AI-based web products and looking for a Backend Developer to join our core team. You will design APIs, manage databases, and integrate AI services while collaborating closely with our frontend, QA, and product teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Python (Flask, FastAPI, or Django).
• Design and manage MongoDB schemas and queries.
• Build and document RESTful APIs for frontend integration.
• Integrate third-party AI/ML APIs and services.
• Handle basic DevOps tasks (Docker setup, deployments, MongoDB Atlas, cloud hosting).
• Ensure performance, security, and scalability of the backend.
• Collaborate with frontend and QA teams to deliver end-to-end features.

Requirements

• 1 2 years of professional backend development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Python (Flask, FastAPI, or Django).
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB (data modeling, queries, indexing).
• Understanding of RESTful API design principles.
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative workflows.
• Willingness to learn basic DevOps (Docker, deployment on AWS/GCP/Heroku).

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with authentication/authorization (JWT, OAuth).
• Experience integrating third-party APIs (payment, AI services, etc.).
• Exposure to cloud services (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Interest in working on AI-driven web applications.
