Duties and Responsibilities
Requirements
- Design, build, and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable Java code
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use
- Collaborate with Front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server side logic
Requirements
- Proficiency in Core Java
- Knowledge of other languages will be an advantage
- Proficiency in working with Java Frameworks such as Spring, Struts or Play Framework
- Prior experience in working with Web Services in Java (SOAP, REST, UDDI, JMS etc)
- Proficiency in all stages of SDLC
- Understanding of Agile Methodology would be an added advantage
- Proficiency in Relational Databases
- Proficiency in working with complex SQL queries
- Proficiency in working with Git
- Proficiency in Build Automation and Deployment
- Prior experience in writing test cases and performing unit tests using a testing framework
