Backend Developer (JavaScript + Node.js)

• We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer skilled in JavaScript and Node.js to join our team

• The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of backend development principles and experience working on complex projects
• This role requires working from the office six days a week

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using JavaScript and Node.js
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
• Implement and maintain APIs to support various platforms (web/mobile)
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Troubleshoot and debug applications
• Perform code reviews and contribute to team best practices
• Work with DevOps to deploy and maintain applications in a production environment
• Stay up-to-date with new technologies and industry trends

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Backend Developer
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and Node.js
• Experience with database management and design (SQL/NoSQL)
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Experience with API design and development
• Knowledge of version control systems (eg, Git)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
