Back End Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Back-End Developer to develop, maintain, and optimize server-side applications and systems. The ideal candidate should be strong in backend technologies, database management, API development, and writing scalable, secure code. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain server-side logic and APIs.
• Build and integrate RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
• Design and optimize databases, schemas, and queries.
• Ensure application performance, scalability, and security.
• Collaborate with front-end developers and product teams to deliver complete solutions.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing backend systems.
• Participate in code reviews and follow best coding practices.
• Implement authentication, authorization, and security standards.
• Work with cloud services or on-prem deployments as required.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in backend programming languages such as:
• Node.js, Java, Python, Go, Ruby, PHP, or C#.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and OOP.
• Experience with backend frameworks like Express.js, Spring Boot, Django, Laravel, .NET Core, etc.
• Good knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).
• Experience with API design, REST standards, and authentication (JWT, OAuth).
• Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.
• Understanding of caching, microservices, and server architecture is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications (Optional)

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Exposure to testing frameworks (Jest, JUnit, PyTest, etc.).
• Understanding of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
