Database Management: Create and manage databases, including data modeling, querying, and optimization for efficient data storage and retrieval. API Development: Design and build APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) that allow communication between different parts of the application or with external services. Security: Implement security measures to protect sensitive data, prevent unauthorized access, and ensure data integrity. Scalability and Performance: Optimize the back-end infrastructure for scalability, performance, and responsiveness to handle increasing user loads. Integration: Integrate third-party services, libraries, and APIs into the application's back-end architecture. Version Control: Use version control systems (e.g., Git) to manage and collaborate on code repositories effectively. Testing: Write unit tests, integration tests, and perform debugging to ensure the quality and reliability of back-end components. Deployment: Manage the deployment and maintenance of back-end services in production environments, including monitoring and troubleshooting. Collaboration: Work closely with front-end developers, product managers, and other team members to ensure seamless integration between front-end and back-end components. Qualifications: Proficiency in programming languages commonly used for back-end development, such as Java, Python, Ruby, Node.js, or Golang. Strong understanding of server-side architecture, design patterns, and best practices. Experience with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL), including data modeling, querying, and optimization. Knowledge of RESTful APIs and other communication protocols. Familiarity with web servers (e.g., Apache, Nginx) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
