- Proficiency in a server-side language (Python, Java, Node.js or .NET)
- Frameworks like FastAPI, Django, Spring Boot, Express or NestJS
- RESTful and GraphQL API design
- RDBMS (PostgreSQL/MySQL/MS SQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB)
- Scalable microservices and API security
- Cloud platforms and Git workflows
What you ll do
- Build scalable, secure web services and APIs
- Design and optimize databases for reliable data management
- Integrate backend systems with external parties
- Practice test-driven development with logging and observability
- Identify and resolve performance and security bottlenecks
