Role Overview
Looking for a Backend Engineer with strong expertise in Node.js and TypeScript to build scalable backend systems, REST APIs, microservices, and third-party integrations for a modern commerce platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop scalable backend services using Node.js and TypeScript.
- Build REST APIs and microservices.
- Design and optimize databases, SQL queries, indexes, and transactions.
- Develop commerce modules such as Orders, Inventory, Products, Payments, Customers, Shipping, and Fulfillment.
- Integrate third-party services including Payment Gateways, Logistics, ERP, CRM, and Notifications.
- Optimize API performance, caching, database queries, and application reliability.
- Follow secure coding, testing, and software engineering best practices.
Preferred
- 2-4 years of backend development experience.
- Product-based company experience preferred.
- Experience with high-scale Commerce, FinTech, SaaS, or ERP platforms is a plus.
