Azure Senior DevOps Engineer - S

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure to support enterprise-scale applications.
• Build, optimize, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (AKS).
• Implement security best practices, governance policies, and compliance controls within Azure environments.
• Monitor system performance, application health, and cloud resources using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, and other observability tools.
• Perform infrastructure troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and incident resolution.
• Collaborate with development teams to streamline release processes and improve deployment efficiency.
• Manage source control repositories and branching strategies using Git.
• Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Support disaster recovery, backup strategies, and high-availability solutions.
• Drive DevOps culture, automation initiatives, and continuous improvement practices across teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services.
• Strong experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or equivalent CI/CD tools.
• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates).
• Strong knowledge of Azure services including:
• Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
• Azure Virtual Machines
• Azure App Services
• Azure Storage
• Azure Networking
• Azure Key Vault
• Azure Functions
• Azure Monitor
• Azure Entra ID (Azure AD)
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes orchestration.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, Python, or YAML.
• Experience with Git-based version control systems.
• Strong understanding of networking, security, identity management, and cloud governance.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
