Azure Logic Developer

Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong hands-on experience in:
Azure Logic Apps
Azure Data Factory (ADF) (good to have for orchestration scenarios)
Informatica (PowerCenter / IICS) – mandatory hands-on experience

Strong experience in:
Analyzing existing Informatica mappings, workflows, and ETL pipelines
Designing and building equivalent solutions in Azure Logic Apps
Data integration, transformation, and migration strategies
Debugging and optimizing integration workflows across platforms

Good understanding of:
Integration and migration patterns (re-platforming / re-engineering)
Azure services (Service Bus, Functions, Storage, Key Vault)
Hybrid architecture (on-prem Informatica to Azure cloud)

Familiarity with:
APIs (REST/SOAP), JSON, XML
Data formats, transformation logic, and orchestration concepts
CI/CD pipelines and version control (Azure DevOps / Git)

Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
Ability to interpret legacy implementations and redesign solutions
Effective stakeholder communication skills

Key Responsibilities

Informatica Analysis & Migration
Analyze existing Informatica mappings, workflows, and dependencies to understand current integration logic.
Document business rules, data flows, and transformation logic from legacy systems.
Identify and define migration approaches (lift-and-shift vs re-engineering) for each integration.

Design & Development (Azure Logic Apps)
Design and develop Azure Logic Apps-based integrations to replicate and modernize Informatica workflows.
Implement workflows, triggers, connectors, and error-handling mechanisms in Logic Apps.
Where required, leverage ADF for orchestration and data movement scenarios.

Transformation & Integration
Translate Informatica transformations into Azure-native patterns (Logic Apps, Functions, or ADF where applicable).
Integrate enterprise systems using APIs, messaging services, and cloud connectors.
Ensure data integrity, consistency, and accuracy during migration.

Testing & Validation
Perform unit testing, system testing, and data validation to ensure parity between Informatica and Azure solutions.
Support UAT and resolve defects identified during migration phases.

Performance Optimization
Optimize Logic Apps workflows for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
Identify and address bottlenecks in migrated integrations.

Deployment & DevOps
Participate in deployment of solutions across environments (Dev, QA, Prod).
Support CI/CD processes and maintain version control.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
Work closely with architects, business analysts, and legacy system SMEs to understand requirements.
Collaborate with support teams for smooth handover post-migration.
Communicate migration progress, risks, and dependencies effectively.

Documentation & Best Practices
Create detailed migration documentation, design documents, and runbooks.
Document mapping of Informatica components to Azure Logic Apps equivalents.
Contribute to reusable frameworks and best practices for future migrations.
