Azure Data Engineer-SAP

Position: Data Engineer (Senior Consultant)

• Strong expertise in Azure Data Lake, Azure Data bricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse
• Hands-on experience in Scala, Spark, Python, SQL Server, and Alteryx
• Experience in data ingestion from SAP systems (SAP ECC/S4 HANA) into Azure/AWS or other data platforms
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Positive, solution-oriented mindset

• Experience with Power BI for reporting and visualization
• Knowledge of SAP systems and workflows
• Familiarity with VBA automation

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or related roles
• Proven experience in building and managing end-to-end data pipelines
• Hands-on experience in SAP data extraction and ingestion into cloud data platforms

• Design, build, and manage data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Data bricks, and Azure Data Lake
• Perform data ingestion from SAP systems and integrate with Azure-based data platforms
• Develop and optimize data workflows using Scala, Spark, and Python for large-scale processing
• Implement and maintain data solutions using Azure Synapse and SQL Server
• Ensure data quality, scalability, governance, and security
• Develop and maintain automation workflows using Alteryx
• Support reporting and dataset preparation (Power BI if required)
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver data solutions
• Maintain clear documentation for processes and workflows
