Role Summary & Responsibilities

• Architecture Strategy: Design end-to-end enterprise data platforms, lakehouse architectures, and cloud migrations on Microsoft Azure.
• Technical Leadership: Lead technical teams, mentor engineers, conduct architecture reviews, and define coding standards.
• Platform Optimization: Refactor and modernize legacy pipelines, ensuring high performance, security, and cost-effectiveness.
• Governance & Quality: Establish frameworks for data governance, data quality, metadata management, and compliance.

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience: 15+ years in IT with 10+ years specialized in data engineering, data management, and analytics ecosystems.
• Azure Stack: Deep expertise in Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), and Azure SQL.
• Core Technologies: Advanced proficiency in PySpark, Python, and complex SQL.
• Modern Tools: Experience with Snowflake, Delta Lake, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps automation.
• Soft Skills: Executive-level stakeholder management, consulting, and cross-functional leadership.
