Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Azure Data Engineer with 4+ years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT solutions using Azure services.
- Develop, optimize, and maintain data integration workflows.
- Work with Azure Data Factory (ADF) for data ingestion and pipeline orchestration.
- Develop data transformation and processing solutions using Azure Databricks / Spark.
- Work with Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) and cloud-based data platforms.
- Write and optimize SQL queries for data processing and analytics.
- Implement data quality, validation, monitoring, and error-handling mechanisms.
- Integrate data from multiple sources including databases, APIs, files, and cloud platforms.
- Troubleshoot data pipeline failures and resolve production issues.
- Collaborate with data architects, analysts, developers, and business teams.
- Follow best practices for security, performance, scalability, and cost optimization in Azure.
- Participate in deployment, testing, documentation, and production support activities.
