Key Responsibilities

1. Migration Discovery & Assessment (PreSales and Delivery)

• Lead Azure readiness assessments, application discovery, and dependency analysis.
• Classify workloads using 6R migration strategies aligned to customer business objectives.

Target Architecture & Migration Design

• Design Azure targetstate architectures including:
• Azure App Service, Azure SQL / SQL MI, Azure Functions
• Azure Load Balancer, API Management, Azure Storage, ADF
• Lead database replatforming using: Azure DMS / DMA / Azure Data Studio
• ]Runtime upgrades (.NET, Java, IIS, middleware)
• Database migration to Azure SQL / SQL MI / Oracle on Azure VM
• Define cutover, rollback, and fallback strategies for replatformed workloads.

2. Migration Strategy & Governance

• Define Azure migration roadmap, wave plans, move groups, and cutover schedules.
• Finalize migration architecture, tools, and execution checklists.

3. Azure Migration Execution (Core Delivery)

• Lead and govern:
• Pilot migrations
• Production wave migrations
• Businesscritical cutovers

• Design and validate Azure landing zones including:

• Azure WellArchitected Framework
• Client security and compliance standards
