Job Description

Role & responsibilities :


  • Develop and maintain Python-based applications and automation scripts on AWS.
  • Design, develop, and deploy serverless applications using AWS Lambda and related AWS services.
  • Build, manage, and optimize ETL processes using AWS Glue.
  • Develop, configure, and maintain APIs using AWS API Gateway.
  • Create and manage data pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and processing.
  • Work with databases such as SQL, Amazon Redshift, and MongoDB.
  • Integrate AWS services with third-party applications and external systems.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud applications for performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
  • Implement security, access control, and best practices within AWS environments.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support activities.
  • Maintain technical documentation for applications, integrations, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Support CI/CD pipeline implementation and automation of deployment processes.
  • Ensure high availability, scalability, and cost optimization of AWS-based solutions.


Preferred candidate profile


  • 5-8 years of experience in Python development.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, especially:
  • AWS Lambda
  • AWS Glue
  • API Gateway
  • S3
  • IAM
  • CloudWatch
  • Strong experience in building ETL pipelines and data processing solutions.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with databases such as Amazon Redshift and MongoDB.
  • Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
  • Strong understanding of serverless architecture and cloud-native application development.
  • Experience integrating AWS services with third-party applications and APIs.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps practices.
  • Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
  • Experience troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing cloud applications.
  • Good understanding of security, scalability, and performance best practices on AWS.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
