About the Role

We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in AWS Cloud and modern DevOps practices. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure, managing cloud environments, and ensuring high availability, scalability, and security of applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure on AWS.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using industry-standard tools.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Deploy, monitor, and maintain production and non-production environments.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and security teams for seamless software delivery.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues.
• Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions.
• Ensure cloud infrastructure follows security and compliance best practices.
• Optimize cloud resources for performance and cost efficiency.
• Participate in incident management and production support when required.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
• Strong hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Experience with EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, Route 53, ELB, Auto Scaling, ECS/EKS.
• Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as:
• Jenkins
• GitHub Actions
• GitLab CI/CD
• Azure DevOps (preferred)
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools:
• Terraform
• CloudFormation
• Good knowledge of Linux administration and shell scripting (Bash).
• Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible (preferred).
• Knowledge of Git version control.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, or CloudWatch.
• Understanding of networking concepts including DNS, Load Balancers, VPNs, Firewalls, and Security Groups.
• Good understanding of DevSecOps and cloud security best practices.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Certifications (Associate or Professional) are an added advantage.
• Experience with Kubernetes in production environments.
• Knowledge of serverless services such as AWS Lambda.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with Python or Go scripting is a plus.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
