Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in Amazon EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service) and Terraform to design, implement, and manage cloud-native infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Kubernetes administration, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), containerization, automation, and AWS cloud services.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable and highly available infrastructure on AWS.
- Provision and manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform.
- Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters on Amazon EKS.
- Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines using DevOps tools.
- Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Implement infrastructure monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
- Automate deployment, configuration management, and operational tasks.
- Ensure security, compliance, and cost optimization across cloud environments.
- Collaborate with development, testing, and operations teams for seamless releases.
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in AWS Cloud Services (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, Route 53).
- Hands-on experience with Amazon EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service).
- Expertise in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes architecture and administration.
- Experience with Docker and container orchestration.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
- Experience with Linux/Unix administration and shell scripting.
- Expertise in version control systems such as Git.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or CloudWatch.
Good to Have
- Experience with Helm Charts and Kubernetes Operators.
- Knowledge of Ansible or other configuration management tools.
- AWS Certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, AWS DevOps Engineer).
- Experience in security best practices and DevSecOps.
