Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain scalable cloud-based applications on AWS using Python as the primary programming language.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify requirements and implement solutions that meet business needs.
- Troubleshoot issues related to application performance, security, and reliability in a production environment.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards for data protection and security.
Job Requirements :
- 5+ years of professional work experience in a developer role – must have
- 3+ years of experience with AWS, Serverless, IAM, S3, Aurora, SQS, Lambda, Glue, CloudWatch, Lake formation services – must have
- 3+ years of experience with Python – must have
- 1+ years of experience with AWS CDK – must have
- Experience with AWS architecture, development, and deployment – good to have
- Experience with Angular/AngularJS and JavaScript – nice
- Strong understanding of relational databases and experience writing SQL (Aurora/Athena/MySQL) – nice
- Fluency with CI/CD tool sets – nice
- Experience developing scalable, enterprise-level applications - must
- AWS certification (AWS Certified Developer or AWS Certified Solutions Architect) preferred – establishes credibility
