We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Developer / Senior Integration Developer to design, architect, and build a cloud-native payroll and billing integration platform from the ground up using AWS technologies. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in cloud-native application development, third-party system integrations, payroll and billing processes, and the insurance domain.

This role requires hands-on experience with AWS services, API integrations, authentication frameworks, and data transformation processes. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, product teams, and external vendors to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable integration solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain a cloud-native payroll and billing integration platform leveraging AWS services and modern architectural best practices.

- Build and manage integrations with third-party vendors, TPAs, payroll providers, and platforms such as Finch, ensuring seamless data exchange and system interoperability.

- Develop scalable and secure APIs using REST and SOAP protocols, supporting internal and external application integrations.

- Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms, including SSO, OAuth, Azure AD, and other enterprise security standards.

- Design and develop solutions for processing, transforming, and validating multiple data formats including Fixed Width Files, CSV, XML, JSON, and EDI.

- Utilize AWS CDK, AWS SDK, and cloud-native services to automate infrastructure provisioning, deployment, monitoring, and scalability.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define integration strategies, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure successful project delivery.

- Ensure high standards of code quality, security, performance, and compliance through testing, code reviews, and CI/CD best practices.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

- 8+ years of experience in software development, integration development, or cloud application engineering.

- Strong experience with AWS cloud services, AWS CDK, and AWS SDK.

- Proficiency in TypeScript and modern backend development frameworks.

- Hands-on experience developing and consuming REST and SOAP APIs.

- Strong understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms such as SSO, OAuth, Azure AD, and identity management solutions.

- Experience integrating payroll, billing, or financial systems.

- Strong understanding of data transformation and file processing involving CSV, XML, JSON, Fixed Width Files, and EDI formats.

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in the Insurance domain, particularly with payroll processing, billing systems, and TPA integrations.

- Familiarity with Finch integrations and similar payroll connectivity platforms.

- Experience with serverless architectures and AWS-native integration services.

- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

- Experience working in Agile development environments.
