Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer with a strong focus on research and development (R&D) skills. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in cloud engineering, with a proven track record of tuning and configuring cloud-based tools and services, particularly on the AWS platform. Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, CloudFormation, IAM, and CloudWatch is highly desirable.
Job Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement cloud-based DevOps solutions on AWS.
Manage Kubernetes clusters, Docker-based containerization, and orchestration.
Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab to automate workflows.
Configure and maintain cloud infrastructure, including VPC, EC2, EBS, EKS, Lambda, and Load Balancers.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure, networking, and system performance.
Utilize Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC) automation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align DevOps practices with business goals.
Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
Stay current with cloud and DevOps technologies, especially in AWS and Kubernetes ecosystems.

- Requirements: Bachelor s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in cloud engineering and DevOps
- Expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration
- Experience in managing AWS services: VPC, EC2, Route 53, EBS, EKS, Lambda, CloudWatch, Load Balancers
- Strong proficiency with CI/CD pipelines, especially using Jenkins and GitLab
- Experience with scripting in Shell (Linux) and automation using Terraform (IaC)
- Strong understanding of cloud networking, particularly AWS VPC and related services
- Familiarity with operating systems: Linux and Windows
- Experience with tools like Dockerhub, Docker Swarm, and Kubernetes
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with the ability to work independently and within a fast-paced team
Preferred skills:
Experience with TimescaleDB, Kafka, Jenkins, Apache API Six/API Gateway, ICAM systems, NATS MQTT, and Hasura GraphQL is a plus.
