Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and hands-on AWS Cloud Engineer to manage and optimize our cloud infrastructure. You will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining scalable, secure, and cost-effective AWS solutions. This role is key to ensuring the reliability and performance of our applications in the cloud. You will work closely with development teams to support continuous deployment and integration, driving a culture of automation and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities :
Design, implement, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure using services like EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, and IAM. Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation). Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment. Monitor system performance, health, and security, responding to incidents and alerts. Ensure cloud security best practices and implement robust security controls. Optimize cloud infrastructure for cost, performance, and scalability. Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. 4-6 years of experience as a Cloud Engineer, with a strong focus on AWS. Deep understanding of AWS core services and infrastructure best practices. Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform strongly preferred). Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CodePipeline). Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash). Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
AWS Certified Solutions Architect or SysOps Administrator certification. Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS/EKS). Experience with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, Datadog, ELK). Experience with database management on AWS.
