AVP - Wallet Analytics & Benchmarking

Role Overview

We are seeking a senior individual contributor to execute benchmarking analytics, client intelligence, and data-driven strategy work for global financial institutions. The role requires strong hands-on expertise in financial services analytics, Corporate Banking strategy, benchmarking methodologies, automation, and executive-ready insight generation.

This is an execution-focused role for someone who can independently manage complex analytical workstreams, improve workflows, and deliver high-quality client-facing outputs.

Key Responsibilities

Benchmarking Analytics Execution

• Execute end-to-end benchmarking analytics for global investment banks.
• Manage collection, validation, processing, and quality control of sensitive client submissions.
• Maintain and enhance wallet-sizing methodologies and benchmarking models.
• Produce accurate benchmarking outputs, insights, dashboards, and client presentation materials.
• Combine public and private data to generate actionable insights for senior stakeholders.

Workflow Automation and Process Improvement

• Improve efficiency and standardization across analytics workflows.
• Automate manual processes using Python, Excel, Power BI, and related tools.
• Build scalable models, dashboards, templates, and reusable analytical assets.
• Support adoption of new analytics tools, automation techniques, and AI/ML-enabled solutions.

• Contribute to long-term client relationship management through high-quality analytical delivery.

New Analytics Development

• Support development of new analytical solutions, analysis and visualizations.

Key Skills and Competencies

• Strong understanding of Banking, including products, competitive landscape, and bank strategies in India or Global.
• Proven ability to translate business questions into analytical plans and deliver actionable outputs.
• Strong data analysis, problem-solving, and storytelling skills.
• Hands-on experience with automation, analytics tools, and workflow optimization.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently on complex, data-intensive projects.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.

Qualifications and Experience

• 5–7 years of relevant experience in banking, financial services, Client Strategy, capital markets, corporate/institutional banking, or benchmarking analytics.
• Advanced degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Data Analytics, or related field preferred.
• MBA, CFA, FRM, or similar qualification is a plus.
• Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and Python.
• Experience handling sensitive client data and producing senior stakeholder-ready deliverables.
