Job Title: Automation Tester-Selenium, Java
Job Type: Full-time
Experience: 7-10 years
Location: Bangalore/Hyderabad
Role Overview We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Automation Tester with strong experience in both manual and automation testing . The ideal candidate will have expertise in Selenium with Java/C#/Python or Playwright framework , and a solid understanding of QA methodologies, test automation strategies, and modern testing practices.
Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Selenium or Playwright frameworks
- Perform manual testing when required, including functional, regression, system, and integration testing
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to understand requirements and define test strategies
- Build and maintain test frameworks and improve existing automation frameworks
- Execute automated test suites and analyze results
- Identify, document, and track defects using defect management tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, etc.)
- Participate in CI/CD pipeline integration for automated testing
- Strong experience in Automation Testing (Selenium OR Playwright)
- Expertise in at least one programming language:
- Java OR C# OR Python
- Hands-on experience with:
- Test frameworks (TestNG, NUnit, PyTest, etc.)
- Automation design patterns (Page Object Model, etc.)
- Solid understanding of manual testing concepts
- Experience in API testing (REST/SOAP) using tools like Postman or Rest Assured
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
- Version control systems like Git
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
