Automation Tester

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Quality Engineer Automation with hands-on experience in Playwright to join our QA team. You will be responsible for building and maintaining automated test scripts, ensuring high-quality web applications, and contributing to a robust QA process.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automation test scripts using Playwright, Selenium, Postman for web applications.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA team members to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Execute automated test suites, analyze results, and report defects.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous delivery.
• Enhance automation frameworks for scalability and efficiency.
• Perform root cause analysis of defects and work closely with development teams for resolution.
• Stay updated with emerging tools, technologies, and best practices in automation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 25 years of experience in Automation Testing.
• Strong proficiency in Playwright
• Solid knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript or similar programming languages.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and tools.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
• Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, DOM).
• Knowledge of API testing (Postman, REST Assured) is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with SaaS web applications and large-scale websites.
• Intermediate knowledge of SQL for database testing.
• Familiarity with TDD, unit testing, and QA lifecycle processes.
• Experience with Selenium or similar tools using an object-oriented approach.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical writing skills.
• Ability to work proactively in a Scrum/Agile environment.

Education

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
