AUTOMATION TESTER

• MCA/MSc/BE/BTech/UG in any specialization
• Minimum 5 years of testing experience with handset testing and handset platforms for Android and iOS
• 3+ years of experience as a QA web/mobile Automation Engineer, Selenium, BDD Cucumber, TestNG, Page Object Model, Maven, and Data-driven Framework
• Demonstrated experience in managing the submission and rejection of applications on Apple and Google play store
• Familiarity with the Testing life cycle, defect management, Test design, Test execution, Test management tool
• Proficient in automation testing for mobile applications, including experience in automating integration tests for RESTful APIs using REST-assured and in Mobile automation (Appium)
• Having worked with Postman (API testing) and programming languages such as Java/Python
• Experience using version control (Git), defect tracking systems (JIRA) and working within a Microservice environment
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, along with requisite coding and debugging skills
• A solid understanding of software design principles, patterns, algorithms, data structures, and multithreading concepts
• Familiarity with relational databases (MySQL, Oracle, etc) and the ability to frame and execute queries
• Knowledge of executing test issues and creating reports Strong analysis and troubleshooting skills

Job Description & Responsibilities

• Identifying and documenting test cases for multi-component systems from requirements
• Coordinating and communicating with developers to fix bugs and required modifications
• Executing and documenting test cases to ensure the quality and functionality of software systems Ensuring the scalability and effectiveness of automation tools and Continuous Integration solutions Managing software defects from discovery to closure and providing support for project requirement analysis and planning
• Creating detailed Test Summary & Test Exit Reports
• Documentation including reviewing Functional Specifications, Detailed Design documents, Unit Test documents, and contributing to Test Specifications for Feature, System, and Solutions Testing
• Conducting manual and automated testing of software systems across multiple platforms, including Android, iOS, websites, and backends.
• Performing Usability, Functional, and Regression testing to ensure the quality and functionality of software systems.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve software defects and other issues.
