Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced Automation Tester with a strong background in automation testing, manual testing, and a solid understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines

The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of hands-on experience in software testing, with expertise in Selenium, automation frameworks, Git, Python scripting, and API testing tools such as Postman and SOAP

This role will involve designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products

Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and other automation frameworks

Implement automation solutions that integrate with CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and delivery

Collaborate with development, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure effective test coverage and quality assurance practices

Perform manual testing when necessary and assist in the creation and execution of manual test cases

Utilize Git for version control and collaborate with team members to manage test scripts and code changes

Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman and SOAPUI to verify functionality and performance

Write and maintain Python scripts to automate testing tasks, data manipulation, and test result analysis

Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with developers to resolve issues in a timely manner

Document test plans, test cases, and test results in accordance with established QA processes and procedures

Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends in automation testing, DevOps, and software quality assurance

Required Skills/Experience

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

2-3 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on automation testing

Proficiency in automation testing tools such as Selenium, automation frameworks, and API testing tools

Strong understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems such as Git

Experience with manual testing methodologies and practices

Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python for test automation

Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman and SOAPUI

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
