Mandatory Skills:
- 8 to 10 years of overall experience in software testing/QA.
- 3+ years of experience as an Automation Test Lead.
- Strong hands-on experience in Automation Testing.
- Strong programming knowledge in Java.
- Excellent hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.
- Experience in developing and maintaining automation frameworks.
- Strong experience in functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Strong domain experience in Retail Banking and/or Corporate Banking.
- Experience in leading QA teams and coordinating testing activities.
- Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, defect lifecycle, and Agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Automation Test Lead to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will have 810 years of experience in software testing, with strong expertise in test automation, Java, Selenium, and functional testing within the Retail Banking or Corporate Banking domain.
The candidate should have at least 2 to 3 years of experience in an Automation Test Lead role, with proven experience in defining test strategies, leading QA initiatives, managing releases, mentoring QA teams, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage automation testing activities across multiple projects and releases.
- Define and implement test automation strategies, frameworks, standards, and best practices.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Selenium.
- Lead functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing activities.
- Review business and technical requirements and prepare comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
- Identify opportunities for automation and improve overall test coverage and efficiency.
- Coordinate with developers, business analysts, product owners, and other stakeholders to resolve defects and clarify requirements.
- Plan and manage testing activities across different release cycles, ensuring timely delivery.
- Analyze test results, identify risks, track defects, and provide regular status reports to stakeholders.
- Perform root-cause analysis for complex issues and work closely with development teams to resolve them.
- Establish and monitor QA metrics, automation coverage, defect trends, and overall testing quality.
- Mentor and guide QA engineers and automation testers, providing technical and functional guidance.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure automation scripts follow coding and framework standards.
- Continuously improve automation frameworks, tools, processes, and testing methodologies.
- Support CI/CD integration and execution of automated test suites where applicable.
- Ensure adherence to organizational quality standards, processes, and documentation requirements.
