Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled Automation Test Engineer with strong expertise in Selenium and Python. The ideal candidate should have 47 years of experience in the software testing field, with at least 3 years in Selenium automation and 2 years in Python scripting. You will be responsible for building and maintaining robust test automation frameworks, ensuring the highest level of software quality and reliability.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium with Python.
- Develop reusable test frameworks and libraries.
- Perform UI and API testing, validate data, and automate regression test cases.
- Collaborate with developers and QA team to identify test requirements and ensure adequate test coverage.
- Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Document test results, report bugs, and track them through resolution.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and estimation.
Must-Have Skills :
- Strong experience in Selenium WebDriver (min 3 years)
- Solid hands-on in Python scripting (min 2 years)
- Experience with frameworks like PyTest, Robot Framework, or unittest
- Experience in API Testing using Postman/REST Assured
- Familiar with Git, JIRA, and Agile methodologies
- Knowledge of TestNG or PyTest, HTML/XML/JSON, and test reporting tools
Nice-to-Have Skills :
- Experience with BDD tools like Cucumber or Behave
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Understanding of Docker and containerized testing environments
- Experience in performance testing is a plus
Educational Qualification :
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
