Test Automation Engineer – Playwright

Role Summary

Ensure application quality through automated testing strategies, focusing on migrated applications, regression coverage, and quality assurance across React, Java Spring Boot, and .NET applications. Leverage AI-assisted testing tools to improve test efficiency and coverage.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Playwright automation frameworks.
• Execute UI, API, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Create test plans, test cases, and automation scripts.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with developers and business teams for defect resolution.
• Support migration validation and ensure functional parity between legacy and modernized applications.
• Utilize AI tools for test case generation, automation development, defect analysis, and productivity enhancement.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of testing and automation experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright.
• Playwright with TypeScript/JavaScript or Java.
• API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools.
• Test management tools such as JIRA and Azure DevOps.
• Experience with TestNG/Junit/Cucumber, and automation framework development.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Gemini, or similar platforms.
• Exposure to AI-driven testing and intelligent test automation solutions.
• Performance testing exposure (JMeter, k6, LoadRunner).
• Experience testing React, Java Spring Boot, and .NET applications.
• Experience in large-scale application modernization or migration programs.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) and CI/CD integration.
