Automation Test Engineer

About the Role:

As an Automation Engineer, you are responsible for spearheading the automation initiatives within the software testing lifecycle. Your duties encompass the planning, development, execution, and maintenance of automated test scripts to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. You will collaborate closely with the development and testing teams to align automation strategies with project deliverables, ensuring seamless integration and optimal test coverage. Your expertise will play a critical role in accelerating testing processes and improving software quality.

Required Skills & Experience:

Skills

Automation Testing, API Automation, Playwright, API Testing, Selenium, SQL, OOPs concept, STLC, Knowledge of Automation Scenario Design, Automation Framework Architecture etc.

Technical Proficiency

• Proficient in automation tools and frameworks such as Playwright, REST-assured and Postman.
• Experience with RDBMS and writing complex SQL queries.

Quality Assurance Foundations

• Strong background in UI, API, performance, and non-functional testing.
• Debugging and troubleshooting skills to resolve complex issues.
• Knowledge of Agile and Iterative software development methodologies.
• Ability to manage test variants in highly configurable applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of clearly documenting and presenting test findings.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Education & Certifications

Bachelors degree in computer science or a related technical field
