We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Automation Test Engineer with strong expertise in Selenium and Java to join our growing QA team. In this role, you will be responsible for building robust, scalable automation frameworks and ensuring high-quality delivery of web applications through comprehensive testing strategies.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to drive quality engineering practices and enhance test automation maturity.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver and Java
Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications
Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams to ensure maximum test coverage
Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
Perform API automation testing using tools like RestAssured
Analyze test execution results, identify defects, and ensure timely resolution
Ensure automation scripts are reusable, maintainable, and efficient
Participate in code reviews and enforce best practices in test automation
Manage and maintain test environments and test data
Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and standards

Required Skills Qualifications

Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and Java
Proficiency in testing frameworks such as TestNG or JUnit
Experience designing automation frameworks (e.g., POM, BDD)
Solid understanding of API testing (RESTful services, JSON)
Experience working with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
Proficiency in Git or other version control systems
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Nice to Have

Exposure to AI-driven testing tools or intelligent automation solutions
Experience with tools like GitHub Copilot or similar developer productivity tools
Advanced API automation expertise
Knowledge of database testing (SQL queries, data validation)
Experience with BDD tools such as Cucumber or SpecFlow
