Automation Engineer (Playwright + TypeScript) About the Role Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust UI automation frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript .
• Develop and execute automated test scripts for Angular-based web applications .
• Build and maintain REST API automation suites for functional and regression testing.
• Validate API requests, responses, authentication mechanisms, and data integrity.
• Create reusable, scalable, and maintainable automation components.
• Integrate automation test suites into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing initiatives.
• Analyze test execution results, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams for resolution.
• Participate in sprint planning, requirement reviews, and test strategy discussions.
• Ensure automation coverage across functional, integration, and regression testing areas.
• Contribute to process improvements, automation best practices, and quality engineering initiatives.

Mandatory Skills

• 4 to 8 years of experience in Software Test Automation.
• Strong experience in UI Automation for Angular applications .
• Hands-on expertise in Playwright with TypeScript .
• Experience in designing and implementing automation frameworks from scratch.
• Strong knowledge of REST API Automation using Playwright or similar automation tools.
• Experience in API validation, authentication testing, and data-driven testing.
• Good understanding of:

• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and test automation integration.
• Strong knowledge of Git-based source control systems .
