Role Summary
The Automation Engineer will design, develop, and implement laser-based automation solutions for industrial applications. This role requires expertise in robotics, PLC/SCADA systems, and integration of laser technologies into automated production lines. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver efficient, safe, and innovative automation projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Laser Automation Projects: Design and execute automation solutions using laser cutting, welding, and marking systems.
• System Integration: Integrate lasers with PLCs, HMIs, robotics, and vision systems.
• Programming & Commissioning: Develop control algorithms, program robots, and commission automation equipment.
• Testing & Troubleshooting: Conduct FAT/SAT, troubleshoot laser automation systems, and ensure operational reliability.
• Documentation: Prepare technical reports, manuals, and compliance documentation.
• Customer Coordination: Work closely with clients to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Safety & Quality: Ensure compliance with safety standards and implement quality assurance processes.

  Required Skills & Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of industrial lasers (cutting, welding, engraving).
• Experience with PLC, SCADA, HMI, Servo systems, sensors, pneumatics.
• Familiarity with robotic platforms (ABB, FANUC, Yaskawa, KUKA).
• Understanding of automation schematics and electrical drawings.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
• Excellent communication and customer-handling skills.

Education & Experience

• Qualification: BE/B.Tech/Diploma in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Automation Engineering.
• Experience: 26 years in industrial automation projects (laser systems preferred).
• Freshers with strong internship/project exposure in robotics/laser automation may also be considered.
