Job Description
- The Automation Engineer is a key member of the VCF9 Migration Factory Delivery Pod''s Execution tier, building automation that raises migration throughput and eliminates manual swivel-chair work between tracking systems
- Owns the design and development of PowerCLI, Ansible, and HCX orchestration and Terraform automation against VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) APIs, in direct support of bulk and on-demand migration waves
- Applies creative problem-solving to identify automation gaps while keeping the Migration Coordinator and customer aware of progress
- Uses initiative and standard programming practices to ensure the stability and security of the pod''s automated solutions.
