Job Summary

Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled Playwright Automation Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Playwright and a passion for enabling teams through knowledge sharing and training. The ideal candidate will have recent experience building and maintaining automation frameworks using Playwright, leveraging modern AI/MCP capabilities, and mentoring engineers on best practices in test automation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts using Playwright.
• Leverage Playwright MCP and AI-assisted capabilities to improve test development efficiency, maintainability, and coverage.
• Implement and execute automated functional, regression, and end-to-end test suites.
• Analyze test results, troubleshoot issues, and work closely with development teams to resolve defects.
• Evaluate and incorporate automation best practices and emerging technologies.
• Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions and train engineering teams on Playwright automation, framework design, and best practices.
• Provide guidance and support to engineers adopting Playwright within their projects.

Requirements

• 3-6 years of overall experience in software testing and test automation.
• Minimum 2 years of recent, hands-on experience with Playwright.
• Exposure to at least one additional automation tool/framework (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, WebdriverIO, TestCafe, UFT, or similar).
• Strong experience in developing and maintaining Playwright-based automation frameworks.
• Experience leveraging Playwright MCP and AI-driven automation capabilities.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, test design, and automation best practices.
• Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• 3 must-haves: Playwright hands-on exp 5/5
• Exop with any other automation tool/framework (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, WebdriverIO, TestCafe, UFT, or similar)
