From generators and batteries to fuel cells, the solutions are as diverse as they are innovative. Your role extends from system-engineering to commissioning on board the ship.
How You\'ll Make an Impact
- You deal comprehensively with the automated systems on offshore platforms to implement interfaces and complete solutions.
- Hand-on experience with PCS7, WinCC and Step 7, TIA Portal.
- Has performed Automation Node / HMI programming for at least five Oil & Gas / Marine / relevant automation projects using the above tools.
- Experience with Nordic SOGO library would be added advantage.
- Experience with Upgrade / Migration of offshore DCS projects is desirable.
- Coordinate with Factory / System house / Vendor for Automation Cabinet Manufacturing & Staging.
- Traveling to Siemens/customer for longer durations (around 2-3 months) would be part of this role. (Domestic as well as International)
You are a graduate in Instrumentation, Electrical or Automation Engineering with consistent track record and relevant experience of 8+ years in Automation Engineering.
Knowledge of C++, C#, VB Scripting, Database Management would be added advantage.
Good communication skills, fluency in English. (Written and oral)
Good Team Player & can communicate with Siemens regional offices.
