Role & responsibilities
5 to 8 + Years of experience in Infrastructure Automation Developer
Strong proficiency in VRA\VRO\PowerShell Bash, Rest API, Git lab, Git Hub CI/CD
Ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and communicate challenges or issues proactively.
Build Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions for provisioning and lifecycle management.
Develop reusable automation modules, templates, scripts, and workflows.
Create integrations between automation platforms and enterprise tools.
Optimize existing automations for performance, scalability, and reliability.
Maintain source code repositories and version control standards
Perform daily operational activities related to infrastructure automation and orchestration.
Troubleshoot failed automation executions and resolve workflow-related issues.
Support automation requests raised through ServiceNow. Automation & Scripting: Use scripting languages like Python, YML, PowerShell or Bash to automate routine administrative tasks and integrate with REST APIs.
Incident & Problem Management: Provide root cause analysis (RCA) for complex production incidents, search errors, and platform health issues
Integrate automation workflows with:
ServiceNow
Jira
Automate service request fulfillment processes.
Support CI/CD and automation release activities.
Assist in creating approval workflows and governance mechanisms.
Governance & Best Practices: Enforce Automation platform best practices, security guidelines, and RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) across environments
