Job Description
- We are seeking a skilled and innovative AutoCAD Designer Civil Engineer Staff with experience in a diligent and detail-oriented Office Maintenance role to join our team
- The ideal candidate will be proficient in AutoCAD software and have a strong background in civil engineering principles
- This role will involve creating detailed drawings, designing new infrastructure projects, and collaborating with teams to bring projects to fruition
- You shall be responsible for overseeing various aspects of new office designing and launching, office maintenance, including cleanliness, safety, and general upkeep
- The candidate should have a keen eye for detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- This role requires a proactive approach to problem- solving, strong organizational skills, and the ability to coordinate with external vendors and service providers
1. AutoCAD Design Facilities Management
- Utilize AutoCAD software to create detailed 2D and 3D drawings for civil engineering projects, including site plans, structural designs, and infrastructure layouts.
- Interpret and translate engineering sketches, plans, and specifications into accurate and precise drawings.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations in all design work. Conduct regular inspections of the office premises to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
- Coordinate repairs and maintenance tasks, including HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance.
- Conduct site visits and surveys to gather data and assess project requirements.
- Perform calculations and analysis to support design decisions and ensure structural integrity.
- Supervise staff to ensure that maintenance tasks are performed to high standards.
- Signup vendors to get the maintenance work done at optimal cost and best quality.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and protocols to maintain a safe and maintained environment.
- Assist with the preparation of project proposals, estimates, and budgets (BOQ).
- Participate in project meetings to provide updates on design progress, address concerns, and resolve issues as they arise.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and address any issues promptly.
- Coordinate with various teams to maintain a secure environment for employees, clients and visitors.
- Conduct quality checks and revisions as necessary to meet project deadlines and standards.
- Assist with office space planning and layout optimization to maximize efficiency and productivity.
- Coordinate office moves, furniture installations, and reconfigurations as needed.
- Maintain inventory records for office assets, furniture, equipment, and supplies.
- Liaise with external vendors and contractors for construction, interiors, maintenance, repairs, and other facility-related services.
- Obtain quotes, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely completion of work.
- Evaluate vendor performance and make recommendations for improvements as needed.
- Negotiate quotations and payment terms with vendors.
- Ensure Vendor payments are done on time.
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD software and other design tools.
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, including structural analysis, materials, and construction methods.
- Experience with drafting and detailing in accordance with industry standards and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Proven experience in office maintenance, facilities management, or a similar role.
- Knowledge of building systems and maintenance procedures, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and facility management software is desirable.
- Previous experience in civil engineering or architectural design is preferred.
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work outside of regular business hours for maintenance emergencies or special projects.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintenance and problem-solving.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
