Asst. Manager / Dy. Manager - Procurement & Contracts

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Asst. Manager / Deputy Manager Procurement & Contracts (MEP Services) to manage procurement and contract activities for MEP packages across residential and commercial real estate projects. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in vendor sourcing, techno-commercial evaluation, contract management, cost optimization, and procurement planning.

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement

• Handle end-to-end procurement of MEP materials, equipment, and services.
• Identify, evaluate, and develop vendors and suppliers.
• Obtain quotations, conduct techno-commercial evaluations, and finalize vendors.
• Ensure timely procurement as per project schedules.

Contracts

• Prepare, review, negotiate, and administer MEP contracts and work orders.
• Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and vendors for contract execution.
• Monitor contractual compliance, variations, claims, and amendments.
• Ensure proper documentation and record management.

Cost & Budget Control

• Conduct rate analysis and cost comparisons.
• Support budgeting and cost optimization initiatives.
• Ensure procurement is within approved budgets and company policies.

Vendor Management

• Maintain vendor database and evaluate vendor performance.
• Build long-term relationships with key suppliers and contractors.
• Resolve commercial and contractual issues with vendors.

Coordination & Reporting

• Coordinate with Design, Projects, Planning, Finance, and Stores departments.
• Prepare procurement MIS, contract status reports, and management presentations.
• Ensure timely closure of procurement and contract-related activities.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 8 to 12 years of experience in Procurement & Contracts (MEP Services).
• Experience in Residential and Commercial Real Estate Projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and ELV systems.
• Good understanding of procurement processes, contract administration, vendor management, and cost control.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, coordination, and communication skills.
