Job Description
Role & responsibilities
- Work with the engineering team to develop, maintain, and enhance software applications using C# and .NET.
- Gain hands-on experience in Java and other technologies used across Aventrion's projects and products.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and automation testing to ensure software quality and reliability.
- Understand application requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios and automation scripts.
- Identify, document, troubleshoot, and track software defects in collaboration with development teams.
- Participate in the complete software development and testing lifecycle, from requirement analysis through deployment.
- Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code and automation scripts following established engineering practices.
- Work closely with developers, testers, and other team members to deliver reliable, production-ready solutions.
- Explore and evaluate new technologies, tools, and frameworks that can improve development and testing processes.
- Continuously learn, adapt, and contribute to improving the organization's engineering and quality processes.
Preferred candidate profile
- B.Tech/B.E. graduate from Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), Information Technology (IT), Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE), or Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE).
- Candidates who graduated between 2020 and 2024 are eligible.
- Prior experience in software development, software testing, QA, or automation testing will be an added advantage.
- Basic to good knowledge of C#, .NET, Java, and Selenium.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts, software development fundamentals, and testing concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Willingness and ability to learn and adapt to new technologies, tools, and frameworks.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as effectively within a team.
- A proactive attitude with a strong desire to build a career in the technology industry.
