About the role
As a Master Relations PM, you will be responsible for identifying, onboarding, and nurturing relationships with industry practitioners ("Masters") who deliver sessions to undergraduate students at Masters' Union. You will serve as the primary point of contact between the institution and its Masters, ensuring a seamless experience from initial outreach through ongoing engagement. This role demands a blend of relationship management skills, business acumen, and a genuine passion for education.
Specifically, this role will involve
  • Research and identify senior industry practitioners (CXOs, VPs, founders, domain experts) across sectors such as technology, finance, consulting, marketing, product management , psychology and more.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential Masters through networking, LinkedIn outreach, referrals, industry events, and strategic partnerships.
  • Craft compelling outreach communication that articulates the Masters' Union value proposition and resonates with senior professionals.
  • Serve as the single point of contact for assigned Masters, managing all aspects of their engagement lifecyclefrom onboarding to session delivery to post-session feedback.
  • Build deep, trust-based relationships with Masters to ensure high satisfaction, repeat engagement, and advocacy.
  • Proactively address scheduling conflicts, content alignment needs, and logistical requirements to deliver a frictionless experience.
  • Organise periodic appreciation events, networking mixers, and recognition initiatives for the Master community.
  • Collaborate with the Academic team to map curriculum requirements against practitioner expertise and fill session slots efficiently.
  • Brief Masters on course objectives, student profiles, and expected learning outcomes ahead of their sessions.
  • Collect and analyse student feedback to provide constructive inputs to Masters and continuously improve session quality.
  • Maintain an up-to-date database of all Masters with engagement history, session records, availability, and feedback scores.
  • Track and report on key metrics.
  • Coordinate travel, accommodation, honorariums, and other logistical arrangements for visiting Masters.
Ideal candidate will have
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, Liberal Arts, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in stakeholder management, partnerships, business development, corporate relations, or a client-facing role.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skillsboth written and verbalwith the ability to engage confidently with C-suite professionals.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple relationships and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with MS Office/G-Suite.
  • A proactive, self-starter mindset with a high degree of ownership and accountability.
  • Prior experience in the education or ed-tech sector.
  • An existing professional network across industries.
  • Experience managing events, speaker panels, or executive engagement programmes.
  • MBA or postgraduate qualification.
