Job Description
Job Description (JD) for Steel Melting Shop, Central QA
- Develop, implement and maintain Quality Management system.
- Define SOP, Inspection plan, test plan of slab production.
- Ensure correct slab decision to right customer
- Keep informed SMS team about quality issues of steel products
- CAPA formulation for internal external complaint
- Daily management of quality parameters.
- Problem solving to ensure quality
- Conduct plant trial and publish its report to improve quality and on new development
- Publish Technical papers
- Study technical feasibility of new / existing enquiries
- Management of Slab inventory without affecting production
- S-printing and macro-etch of slab samples and record its result
- Impart training to plant heat makers in line with quality assurance
- Successful completion of internal and external audit
- Control quality of input materials
- Conduct process audit

Qualification : B.Tech / M.Tech Metallurgy
Experience : 02-5 years in Steel Industry, preferably in Steel Melting Shop
