Job Description
- Bachelor s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- A minimum of 5 years experience in Search Engine Optimization, preferably in a Tech Product based
company.
- Experience with Google Analytics, Google Webmaster, Ahrefs and CMS tools like Word press
- Experience with Screaming Frog, Dragon Metrics, SEMRush, Google My Business and an asset
- HTML an asset
- Create a robust search engine optimization strategy for pCloudy s website, including a roadmap of initiatives to drive organic search presence and revenue growth
- Support the Content team with keyword and topic searches, helping them structure published editorial
content
- Monitor and report on SEO action items performance through the use of SEO softwares and
Excel/Google Sheets
- Analyze competitors and find new off-site and on-site opportunities to sustain organic channel growth
- Participate in the development and implementation of SEO business plans across the company
- Communicate SEO performance and initiative status to stakeholders in weekly business reviews
- Design, execute, and report on SEO experiments, evaluating them against business KPIs
- Deliver comprehensive organic traffic growth and commercial KPIs
- Highly analytical and detail oriented
- Skills to leverage quantitative thinking to manage campaign success
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Thorough knowledge of search ranking and optimization factors and key algorithm updates
- In-depth experience with website analytics tools (e.g, Google Analytics)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO (and SEM)
- Highly motivated and organized
- Creative thinker with excellent problem solving abilities
- Strong ability to present, synthesize and influence change
- Proven ability to consistently perform independently and as part of a team
