About the Digital and Technology Team

We are the Digital and technology team, a rapidly growing team of more than 50 team product managers, digital marketers, data analysts, data scientists, engineers, architects and strategy team members. We are responsible for charting and building the digital and technology first roadmap for Pramerica Life insurance. We work across functions in the areas of Digital, Technology, Analytics and Strategy across the organization. We believe in providing an empowering and fun work environment to people who are ambitious and want to grow fast.

A. Position Summary:

Spending most of their time analyzing data. Past trends, current conditions, etc. Able to interpret large chunks of data, understand trends, analyze results, use of statistical techniques, visualization tools to give actionable insights. Should have worked on metrics tracking and working on MIS for functional needs.

B. Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate business problem to Analytical problem and come up with metrics, KPI to measure the same. Design Dashboards to find the trends and come up with strategy to resolve them working alongside with functional heads.
  • Checking for trends and identifying anomalies
  • Analyzing Sales coming through different channels, online user behavior, conversion data, customer journeys, funnel analysis
  • Defining new data collection and analysis processes and reporting the results back to relevant members of the business
  • Established oneself as SME in a domain. i.e.: Sales and Distribution, Lead Nurturing, Marketing. etc.
  • Contribute to knowledge base and mentor team members
  • Storytelling & presentation on key insights to key business stakeholders


C. Job Specifications:


Qualifications:

  • Candidate should have B.Tech in computer science, Master s/MBA is preferable
  • Past experience working on Analytics, problem solving and Visualization reports/Dashboards

Experience:

  • Should have 1-3 years of experience in Insurance/Banking/Lending/Credit Bureau or Financial sector
  • Good to have experience in creating Daily MIS for Sales & Distributions for P&L
  • Extensive hands-on experience in designing and creating responsive Dashboards on PowerBI or other visualization tools
  • Extensive hands-on experience in working with Excel, SQL, PowerBI
  • Should have good knowledge and working experience in creating reporting datasets, performance tuning
  • Should have good knowledge and working experience in story-telling and presenting actionable insights to stake holders
  • Good to have knowledge of Bank Statement, Credit data and other data sources used in Fraud Analysis

D. Key Technical Skills and Core Behavioral Competencies

  • Strong experience in Reporting, Dashboards , Trend Analysis, Creating presentations
  • Well versed in all relevant technologies i.e. Excel, SQL, Reporting, Dashboard, Reporting dataset design, Reports deployment, PowerBI management and maintenance
  • Demonstrated business orientation, correctly analyze business situation and foresee implications of major decisions with in-depth understanding of regulatory issues backed by strong business acumen
  • Conceptual thinking - takes the right factors into account when developing solutions and demonstrate analytical thinking.
  • Drive for results - Passion for learning and development, focuses on continuous improvement regarding work processes and able to work hard to achieve set goals.
  • The candidate should possess the tact and ability to negotiate with and manage multiple stakeholders including board members, shareholders and regulatory authorities
