Specialist (C) - Accounting Operations

What can you expect

• A member of the Finance function who will work with accounting operations team.
• Working closely with the onshore teams and other functional finance teams.
• Continuous mentorship - collaborate with peers as receive both formal training as well as day to day mentoring from your manager.

Responsibilities

• Ensure achievement of agreed SLAs for the accounting operations team.
• Identify automation opportunities proactively within the process.
• Maintain and update documentation to comply with ISO standards.
• Manage month-end / quarter-end R2R processes:
• Fixed Assets, Revenue Accruals, Prepayment, Payroll Activities, Intercompany
• Coordinating with controllers and other functional teams to clear open items
• Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Managing review for all balance sheets reconciliations and meeting the global deadlines.
• Managing audit requirements

Note: Applicants must be willing and flexible to work in shifts, including night shifts.

What you need to have

• Commerce Graduate with 4+ years of work experience / CA with 0-1 years of work experience.
• Attention to detail and accuracy of work.
• Ability to work within tight deadlines.
• Ability to deal with multiple formats of data large volumes of data.
• Good communication skills.
• Must have worked on Oracle/ERP.
• Must be keen to learn.
