Assistant Supply Chain Manager

We are hiring for a Supply Chain Assistant Manager at Kolkata location.

Reporting manager - HOD

Role & responsibilities :

• Responsible for order local goods to the Supplier and replenish the Country Distribution Center, with the objective of having goods
• ready to fulfil needs coming from the Operations in the assigned country.
• Replenishment
• Assure data in the Replenishment system is accurate for global and local items
• On hand inventory (warehouse and stores)
• Open orders updated (global and locals)
• Daily sales at item level
• Manage the planning process and ordering process for the local vendors
• Follow-up purchase orders placed
• Order approval and OTB
• Supervise the daily work to ensure the correct weekly ordering cycle:
• Calculate replenishment based on the guidelines and logistics parameters provided by the DC Managers
• Analyze in transit and on hand inventory levels and inform PO Management and DCs
• Generate Purchase Orders fulfilling the guidelines provided by the DC Manager and the agreement with the suppliers, incl. Full truck
• Loads, Full pallets, Full cases, and Reordering frequencies and Minimum Purchase Value
• Supervise the key replenishment parameters to make sure that the reality of each Supplier is properly represented
• Analyze forecast and, when necessary, flag incoherencies
• Follow-up Purchase Orders
• KPIs follow-up
• Analyze and follow-up main Planning and Purchasing KPIs (Line Fill Rate, Lead Time Report)
• Execute corrective actions to change negative trends in the KPIs
• Collaborative Plan
• Share Forecast, KPIs and other information with suppliers
• Conduct Supplier meetings to review suppliers performance
• Maintain a cooperative relation with the suppliers for improving the supply chain
• Manage warehouse inventory levels per category

Desired profile:

• MBA will be preferred
• Good communication skills & job knowledge
• DOJ: Expecting within 15 days once shortlisted
• Candidate based in Kolkata/ Bangalore will be preferred
